The location of the hostel is great, being close to both the Saturday and Sunday markets. This makes it convenient for exploring and shopping. the room was clean and comfortable, with a good size and organized shelf for keeping belongings. the staff was also helpful and answered any questions.
It was quite noisy at night due to the nearby club and outside bar. the vibrations from the club could be felt in the bed, and the loud drunk people outside the bar kept eating and drinking until the early hours of the morning.

I stayed at Sunny Hostel Chiangmai @Tha Pae for 5 nights with a friend. The room was clean and provided complimentary bottled water daily. The staff was kind and informative. We took a day tour to Chiang Rai through the endorsed tour agent, Mingta Tour, and had a professional and trusted experience. The location was prime, with easy access to cafes, restaurants, night bazaars, and a laundromat. Tesco and 7-11 were within walking distance, and the hostel cafe downstairs was open almost 24 hours. The hostel also provided a nice lounge area and had good wifi.
Would recommend this hotel.
